CORE — A New Computational Technique for Lattice Systems * COLIN

چکیده

The Contractor Renormalization group (CORE) method, a new approach to solving Hamiltonian lattice systems, is introduced. The method combines contraction and variational techniques with the real-space renormalization group approach. It applies to lattice systems of infinite extent and is ideal for studying phase structure and critical phenomena. The CORE approximation is systematically improvable to any desired degree of accuracy. It is complementary to standard Monte Carlo methods and incorporating dynamical fermions presents no problems. The method is tested using the 1+ l-dimensional Ising model. Submitted to Physical Review Letters. * Work supported by the Department of Energy, contract DE–AC03–76SFO0515. -.

A New Method for Improving Computational Cost of Open Information Extraction Systems Using Log-Linear Model

Information extraction (IE) is a process of automatically providing a structured representation from an unstructured or semi-structured text. It is a long-standing challenge in natural language processing (NLP) which has been intensified by the increased volume of information and heterogeneity, and non-structured form of it. One of the core information extraction tasks is relation extraction wh...

Implementation of D3Q19 Lattice Boltzmann Method with a Curved Wall Boundary Condition for Simulation of Practical Flow Problems

In this paper, implementation of an extended form of a no-slip wall boundary condition is presented for the three-dimensional (3-D) lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) for solving the incompressible fluid flows with complex geometries. The boundary condition is based on the off-lattice scheme with a polynomial interpolation which is used to reconstruct the curved or irregular wall boundary on the ne...

Novel quark-field creation operator construction for hadronic physics in lattice QCD

A new quark-field smearing algorithm is defined which enables efficient calculations of a broad range of hadron correlation functions. The technique applies a low-rank operator to define smooth fields that are to be used in hadron creation operators. The resulting space of smooth fields is small enough that all elements of the reduced quark propagator can be computed exactly at reasonable compu...

CORE Technology and Exact Hamiltonian Real-Space Renormalization Group Transformations

The COntractor REnormalization group (CORE) method, a new approach to solving Hamiltonian lattice systems, is presented. The method defines a systematic and nonperturbative means of implementing KadanoffWilson real-space renormalization group transformations using cluster expansion and contraction techniques. We illustrate the approach and demonstrate its effectiveness using scalar field theory...
